hello For the last week my reading group has been doing work on pests and finding out different opinions in New Zealand . My group has been doing rabbit and stoats so we had the the task to find out different people opinions on those animals as pests. I found that the public thinks  rabbits are more pests because they make holes in farmers land and there are  more and more rabbits everyday. Here is my opinion continuum showing different people's opinions on this topic.

Hello this week we had  reading groups and we got a book to read about pest we were then asked to do a task on the pest the task had   these clues and  situation  that we had to solve once we solved them we had to get a photo of the pest and put some facts about the pest then we were asked to put it on our blogs I  hope you learn something new from the work that I have completed

The Mines Afire Prediction

Hello, Today we got some questions to answer about the book called The Mines Afire before we start reading it. On Monday we are going on a school trip to where the fire actually happened in Brunnerton that is about 7 minutes away from our school.  I am really looking forward to going there and learning a lot more about it than I will make another blog post about it when I get back  so I can teach you a bit about the mine.  

If you don't  know I can tell you a bit that I know now. 
There was a big fire in Brunnerton Mine in 1896 and about 62 people died in that mine that day and the youngest person was only 16 who died and the oldest person was about 72 years old. Every body  that was working  that day died  in the mine.
