 Hello this week my class has been working on writing a narrative writing. We were all shown a video of a man with a red ski mask on we were asked to base or writing on that video so here is my narrative that I have written we were not allowed to write anymore that 200 word so mine has 173 word.

I am proud of this  because I was really scared to go on the row boat because I thought it was going to tip or something like that but when I got on the row boat it was not that bad (this was on camp )

week 3 term 2

Sorry I have not posted in a long time but here is a writing task i have completed we were sent a model of the writing that we were asked to do the task we are doing is Mornings like a day in the life of you (me) on a school day like from when you first wake up so here is my writing I hope you enjoy.

week 6 term 4

WALT: pick your favourite film and make a review  

Hello today I am publishing my film festival review. We made this because last week we went to the film festival with schools all around the west coast. Each school made a small video and they were ask to share it in the film festival then we were asked to pick our favourite film and make a review my favourite film was from Paroa School and it was about some robbers stealing some money and they tried to catch the robber. I hope you enjoy my work 

Myth Writing

Hello everyone we were ask to complete this task we had to have a look at some myth writing pieces that have already been done so we would have some ideas on what to make our myth on  here is the myth I made on why there is lightning I  hope you like it  

 Many many years ago there was a man named wakkar and a
girl named larpa they live happy in a town called Greymouth.
Greymouth was a really stormy place and a rainy place also
there was a lot of kids there so a lot of them were really
confused so a lot of their parents would make up some
myths about why there is lightning so here is one of them 

Many years ago there was larpa and wakkar they
were going down to the beach for a walk and they decided
to go for a little swum . Then it started to rain so wakkar got
really really angry about it so larpa got really scared and ran
to the car so warkar chased her so larpa killed him and now
when he remembers how he died he sends lightning down
to earth from the clouds. 

So whenever there is lightning you will think of this myth
I made and think of wakkar thinking of how he died

Research Term 4 Week 4

Hello 
I have finished my Guy Fawkes work and here it is. We made these because it was Guy Fawkes last week so here is my work on Guy Fawkes. We had to tell the reader why we have Guy Fawkes and do research  on why we have firework day. It was really interesting what we found and hopefully you learn something today from the work that I did.

Writing

Today I finished my writing on a fairy tale and make it your own but keep  some of the characters and make their personality different so I picked the fairy tale  Little Red Riding Hood and changed the name to Little Blue Ridding Hood and in my story she is bad and the wolf is good and granny is bad too so here is my writing I hope you enjoy it I think it is good but maybe next time I could add some new charters in the story that I make

There was a wolf a granny and a little girl called little blue riding hood  she was very bad not many people liked her because she eats people. And then one day she went to the wolfs house and he was so scared about that he did not  open the door but she new the wolf was in there so she smashed down the door and said do you want to be eaten and he rang granny to come over and then he hang up but then little blue riding hood  ate him and then granny ran in and said what the hell are you doing and then little blue riding hood ate her too but then she spit her back out and she said I am really sorry about that and she said that's okay but don't do again but then the wood chopper came in so granny ate him in second later there was a old man named Greg and he was little blue riding hood's dad  he was a really nice man everybody in town loved him because he was so kind and nice. So one day 7 years ago Greg turned bad then little blue riding hood turned bad then all of the people that lived in the town would not even be on the same street as him because he was starting to eat people and that's the day little red riding hood started to be bad but then the wood copper came into there house one day and chopped the door down and said I am sick of you eating our people that live in this town so he ate Greg and then little blue riding hood and the town lived happily ever after the End

Nessie

Today I finished my Nessie activity so what you had to do is draw Nessie. Nessie is a thing people have seen in the water in Scotland.  It is a like a snake dinosaur that lives in water. I think that Nessie is real because it sounds real and in the photos it looks really real to me .  This is what I think Nessie might look like.

Nikau palm tree writing

This week we had  to do a peace of writing about the Nikita palm tree so I am going to show you my peace  of writing that I did this week the top bit the teachers made so we know what to do   hope you enjoy this bye .

Topic: Nikau Palm Audience: GMS, worldwide blog audience Purpose: To clearly describe the features of a nikau palm so people can recognise and identify it in the school environment

Topic Sentence: the nikau palm tree is a beautiful  plant in the nature of new zealand The nïkau palm is a tree  to New Zealand and i was found in the North Island and the northern South Island from the Marlborough Sounds and Nelson south to near Okarito in the west and Banks Peninsula near Christchurch in the east

Support #1: on the branch it is spiky  and really rufe   like a hundred nails on a fluffy blanket

Support #2 The leaves are pointy and green like an trangla shape like a  big mountain.

Support #3:its a  new zealand tree that we found the nikau palm is the only native tree to new zealand  .

Concluding sentence:They are a pretty tree that  are in new zealand with green pointy leaves and a brown  trunk that is bumpy and it's like  dirty dirt  and  is the only native tree to new zealand.
