12 days of blogging

Hello today we are starting to do 12 days of blogging and we have 12 different activity to do.  Today I picked to pick a random Christmas object and write some clues and see if any one can guess what it is so here is the work that I have completed. I hope you get it write 

 

Prep 2020 awards

This year there were 2 awards for our age group for Prep and my group The BRotHers won both of the awards. We were all so happy and kinda supersized that we won both. We won the first one for having the best looking prep book and the 2nd for making the most money ( We made 2066).

Gingerbread cookies

Helloo Yesterday me and a group of friends made 60 gingerbread men for our 20% day in our class. So you will do all your work all week and then you will have one day to do something for the environment or do something to show kindness so me and my group of friends thought that it would be a good idea to make some gingerbread cookies for some people who would appreciate them the most so we straight away thought of taking them to Granger house, Granger house is a place were our older people go when they cant live by them self  any more. So we email them and ask if the would allow us to come down and we asked how many people we would be making them for (60). We made all of the cookies and made some little notes to go in the little bags then we took  them down and they were so thank full to get them. Have you done a 20% day at your school? if you haven't you defiantly should.

PrEp 2020

Hello today im writing a post about PrEp. If you did not know PrEp is a thing we do at our school 1 time a year  and each class or group will make something. Each day that you come to school you will get payed ( you will get 80 by the end of the 2 weeks) and at the last day of the 2 weeks we have market day where every class/group sells what they make/made. So my group is making branded stickers and lucky dips we sold all of our products from only 1 dollar and we sold out of all of our products fairly quickly. We made 2186 in the end so I hope that we win PrEp 2020

Grandparents day work

Hello here is another grandparents day task for this task we were all asked to write a memory that we have about one of our grandparents but I wrote 2 one for each of them and then and I also added some photos for each of them. Do you have any good memory's with your grandparents?

 Hello today was grandparents day at my school and in my class we were all asked to thank our grandparents so I chose to thank my nana here is the work that I completed. I added some photos of the stuff  she likes or stuff that relates to the text.

For the last couple of weeks we have been doing some work around world war 2 for one of the task that we have done we were asked to put some facts about concentration camps I made mine of a google drawing here is my work that I have done I hope that you learn some new facts that you may not of known before  

The man on the hill

 Hello this week my class has been working on writing a narrative writing. We were all shown a video of a man with a red ski mask on we were asked to base or writing on that video so here is my narrative that I have written we were not allowed to write anymore that 200 word so mine has 173 word.

Hello today I thought that it would be cool if I made a small little game for you all to play its called 4 truths and 1 lie so I will tell you 5 things and you have to guess what is the lie and what I am tell the truth about...

Hello this week my class has been focusing on using compasses when looking at a map we were all asked to make our own map with directions and locations I did 6 locations and two different paths to follow

Donald duck enlargement

Hello, This week we have been working on enlarging objects for this task we were asked to pick a cartoon character and enlarge it on to a piece of paper, we drew out some lines on top of our character that were 1 cm and and then some on our big piece of paper my squares were 6 centimetres. I enlarged Donald duck  here is a photo. This was a really fun task to do and did not take a long time to complete.

Hello here is another matariki tasks that I have completed. I was asked to write some facts about the solar system and this is what I have done. Canva Independence

Hii Yesterday I completed  this task because our class did this thing where we had to say things that year 7 8 students should know how to do. 

We were then asked to make a small poster about the things that we should know. We did this task because the last term we have been focusing on perseverance and Independence at Whanau Time.

fake Facebook profile

Hello Today is book charter day and me and friend dressed up as thing one and thing two we both won a book for how good our costume was. Also this week we had lots of fun things to do because of book week first thing we did was read to the little kids and that goes for about 15 minuets then we had lots of task to do around reading and our favourite books. One of the task were to make a fake face book profile on one of our favourite charters in a book i chose thing one and here is a photo of the Facebook profile.

Yesterday I complected my mercury research there were a lot of facts that i did not know about and I hope you learn something from this it was really interesting

The thing I am most proud of is me going on row boat (to get to the sail boat) 

I am proud of this  because I was really scared to go on the row boat because I thought it was going to tip or something like that but when I got on the row boat it was not that bad (this was on camp )

My favourite animal to re search was a kangaroo because  I did not know that there are only 4 species  of kangaroo  Red kangaroo, Eastern  grey kangaroo, Antilopine kangaroo, Western grey kangaroo

Sorry I have not posted in a long time but here is a writing task i have completed we were sent a model of the writing that we were asked to do the task we are doing is Mornings like a day in the life of you (me) on a school day like from when you first wake up so here is my writing I hope you enjoy.
